Breast Cancer Awareness Month, identified each October in different countries around the world, raises awareness,Faith svg helps in early detection and treatment, as well as care and support for the care and relief of this disease.

Approximately 1.38 million new cases and 458,000 deaths from breast cancer occur each year (IARC Globokan, 2006). Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the world, both in developed and developing countries. In lower-middle-income countries, life expectancy, urbanization, and Western lifestyles have increased in recent years.

Currently there is not enough knowledge about the causes of breast cancer, so the early detection of this disease continues as the basis for the control of breast cancer. When breast cancer is found early and accurate diagnosis and treatment are available, the breast cancer is most likely to be cured, but treatment is often not an option if it is caught late. In such cases, palliative care is needed to alleviate the suffering of patients and their families.

The vast majority of deaths (299,000) occur in lower-middle-income countries, where the majority of women with breast cancer are found early due to a lack of early identification and awareness of barriers to healthcare. WHO promotes a comprehensive breast cancer control program as part of the National Cancer Control Plan.
